Epson EB-1735W & EB-1725 Projectors |
![]() The EB-17 Series projectors are portable, professional high performance business instruments that deliver a brilliant 3000 ANSI lumens and 2000:1 contrast from Epson’s power saving 170W E-TOR lamp. Each projector has a footprint smaller than an A4 sheet of paper and weighs just 1.8 kg. The EB-17 Series projectors feature Epson’s 3-chip 3LCD High Aperture panels delivering higher native contrast and more intense colours in smooth flowing images for more natural and sharper images. Wireless connection to PCs and laptops can be done in seconds with ‘Quick Wireless Connection’ using the USB wireless key included with the projector. Simply plug the USB wireless key into the PC or lap top and the wireless connection is made automatically – no need to wrestle with set up or connection screens. The EB-17 Series projectors are also compatible with the Windows Vista Network Projector function, which enables full PC to projector functionality in just three clicks of a mouse. The EB-1725 and the EB-1735W incorporate Epson’s exclusive EasyMP technology with network capability and multi-screen display allowing up to four projectors to be connected wirelessly to just one computer, thus creating larger, panoramic or split-screen displays, or simultaneous display of the output from four different applications. Epson’s EasyMP NS Connection software gives a more stable and higher performance wireless connection, controls wireless network screen functions, and has an added security feature to prevent unauthorised interference from sources outside the projector-PC connection. And with the EasyMP NS “Presenter View” function you can project a PowerPoint slide image on the screen while at the same time viewing presentation notes and operating buttons to go forward and back between slides on your computer monitor. The EB-17 Series projectors also feature USB Smart Connect, a 3-in-1 USB plug and play connection that automatically displays the presentation within seconds of being plugged in, and combines sound, image (video and still) and remote control functions via a single USB cable. Fast, professional and stylish PC-free presentations are easy with the EB-17 Series delivering bright, high colour images, presentations and movie files directly from most USB devices such as USB keys, digital cameras, iPods or other media players. Images and presentations can be saved and played in formats such as jpeg, PowerPoint converted scenario files*, or Mpeg2, Mpeg4 and WMV movie files without a computer using the projector’s remote control and advanced operation screen For remote presentations the EB-1735W and EB-1725 can be connected directly to a network via an ethernet connector (optional), giving the same functionality as a wireless LAN connection. Presentations, video files and multi-screen slide shows are possible by operating a PC from a remote location where an RGB cable connection is impractical or impossible. Several new features help remove some of the stress from presenting. Quick, easy and hassle free set-up is ensured through a ‘direct power on’ feature, a 6 second start-up time, and a one second auto-keystone correction A front exhaust means hot air is directed discreetly away from the audience, while a high quality short throw lens enables a large image size to be created from a short distance - the EB-1725 can project a 60-inch image from as close as 1.33m, and the EMP-1735W can project a 60-inch image from as close as 1.26m. With a 1:1.2 zoom ratio the image size can be adjusted to fit a variety of screen positions and screen sizes, a convenient feature in rooms where there are obstacles that prevent the set-up of the projector or screen in certain locations. Closing the A/V mute shutter automatically engages A/V Mute mode and lowers the fan noise. Normal function resumes automatically upon reopening the shutter. This built-in lens shutter eliminates the nuisance of having a separate lens cap and is convenient for writing memos on the white board (if also using it as a screen), or even when you want to take a short break from the presentation. The EB-1735W produces Wide XGA images (1280 x 800 pixels) - a common format for laptops - providing 30% extra screen space compared to XGA resolution. The EB-17 Series eight preset modes allow you to select the mode that best suits your viewing environment: PC Source - Photo, Presentation1, Theatre, Game (Dynamic), sRGB, Blackboard, Custom, Presentation2(Text); Video Source - Sports, Presentation1, Theatre, Game (Dynamic), sRGB, Blackboard, Custom, Presentation2(Text). * PowerPoint files are converted to a scenario file using the included SlideMaker2 before saving on the USB drive. The EB-17 Series projectors are distributed in Australia by Ingram Micro, Alloys and Westan. They are available from 4 August 2008 through Epson dealers at an RRP of $3699 (EB-1735W) and RRP of $3399 (EB-1725). |
