Epson is expanding its Genuine Rewards program for Epson genuine ink cartridge buyers to include a monthly prize draw for registered participants.

The Epson Genuine Rewards program allows purchasers of Genuine Epson ink to accumulate points and redeem rewards including Epson projectors, printers and cash, or to sponsor the planting of native trees to offset the average annual carbon emissions of a family car.

From 1 August every Reward Code registered on the Epson Genuine Rewards web site (www.epsongenuinerewards.com.au ) will be automatically entered in a draw to win one of 46 prizes that include an Epson EMP-TW700 Home Theatre Projector, an Epson P-3000 Multimedia Storage Viewer, two 2GB Apple iPod shuffles, Epson multifunction printers, and Epson Photo Paper.

The total retail value of the prize pool is more than $22,000.

“With tens of thousands of our customers registering for our Genuine Rewards program in the five months since launch we are now going to make it even more rewarding for them to participate by giving away prizes,” said Epson’s Director of Marketing Communications, Mike Pleasants.

Every Genuine Epson ink cartridge supplied by Epson Australia contains a unique Reward Code.  The customer simply registers the Reward Code online at the Genuine Rewards website: www.epsongenuinerewards.com.au .  Points are automatically allocated to the user’s account (for each authenticated reward code) and can be used to redeem rewards.

Genuine Rewards include Epson projectors, printers, scanners and multimedia viewers, Epson Genuine ink and speciality photo paper, sponsored tree plantings, or customers can also request a $50 cash payment direct to their bank account when they have the required number of points.

“The Genuine Rewards program encourages customer loyalty not just to Epson, but to our resellers as well, as Epson resellers are the only place customers can be assured of getting genuine Epson ink cartridges with the Reward Code,” Mr Pleasants said.
