About Photo Review magazine
Photo Review magazine tracks the latest digital cameras, lenses and accessories, and also keeps a weather eye on developments in digital video, removable memory and the kind of computer technology that is a pre-requisite for successful photography. Photo Review aim to show how technology can be used to improve the way photos are taken, processed and distributed.
Photo Review's independent product tests use objective benchmark software that is internationally recognised.
Important as the technological dimension is, Photo Review's team believe that the tools are but a means to an end. And that end of course is the photographic image. Whether it be a happy snap at the beach, a meticulously crafted commercial image, or the transcendent vision of an artist, it is the image and the making of it that matters above all. And that's why every issue of Photo Review magazine features a profile and portfolio section for your viewing pleasure and - we hope - your photographic inspiration.

Photo Review's Autumn Issue is out now featuring Steven Siewert, who can be found with his camera among unusual groups of people when he’s not shooting for the SMH.Read about Kane Hibberd who was well-versed in mixing it with musicians before he turned his notable talents to photographing them. In addition, Southern California attracted the motion picture industry because of an abundance of light and locations. For still photographers, it's an issue of quality rather than quantity.
