Samsung NX10 White Edition Digital Camera

samsung20100430.jpgA little more than 13 months ago Samsung made an announcement for a new series under the NX name. At the time they were quoted as saying the NX series "bridges the gap between a DSLR and compact point-and-shoot digital camera by combining the benefits of both in one new model". There has only been one camera placed in the category with the launch of the NX10 although today we were alerted to an almost twin brother being announced in a white version. The NX10 White Edition has all of the same specifications of the original model but now available with an alternative paint job.

For the moment though the NX10 White Edition will only be released in few countries including, Korea, the Netherland, China, USA, and Taiwan (could be changed). The initial production will be limited too so if you're not living in one of these counntries it's not likely to pop up on your local retailer's shelves any time soon... unless there is huge 'iPad style' demand which will change the game.

About Samsung

Since SAMSUNG's founding in 1938, SAMSUNG has maintained a mission statement that responds both to its own change, and to new developments in the world: "Economic contribution to the nation," "Priority to human resources," "Pursuit of rationalism." Each slogan represents significant moments in SAMSUNG's history, reflecting different stages of the company's growth from a domestic industrial leader into a global consumer electronics powerhouse.

In the 1990's, SAMSUNG transformed its mission statement to keep pace SAMSUNG's growing global operations, rapid changes in the world economy and escalating competition from well-established rivals.
