Samsung Digimax V3 Released |
Continuing its aggressive drive within the digital camera market, Samsung has followed up the hugely successful launch of its V4 camera with the introduction of its lower priced sister camera, the Digimax V3. Behind the sleek and compact design of the Digimax V3 is a range of features combining to make the V3 one of the most versatile cameras in its field. A 3.3 megapixel CCD produces vivid picture images and renders accurate colour tones while it boasts a high quality 3 x zoom Schneider lens (equivalent to 38mm – 114mm in 35mm format). A total 12x zoom range is possible by using the 4 x digital zoom. If you are looking to take slightly more adventurous shots, it is easy to be more creative with the V3. As with the V4, the many manual settings available - such as aperture / shutter priority or fully manual exposure - give you more control. You can even control focusing and exposure yourself, and crop and resize images without needing to first download them to a PC. Customising your favourite settings is easily performed with the ‘My Set’ mode. Up to 9 different camera settings including image size, quality and ISO can be stored. This means that users can personalise the camera and achieve the pictures they want with just one touch of a button. Like the V4, the V3 has the ability to use 9 different power sources. These include AA alkaline, AA lithium, Mi-Nn, CR-V3, as well as rechargeable NI-MH, Ni-Cd, I-pack batteries, and AC Adaptor as well as the dedicated Li-on battery. Other great features offered by the Digimax V3 include: • Designing your own loading screen • Enhanced movie function with sound • Voice memo & voice recording • One touch play back function, allowing instant recall of the last image taken even when the camera is turned off • Macro mode – down to 6cm • Automatic and manual control of the high resolution TFT LCD monitor • Recording images as JPEG (3 levels) or TIFF • Playing back your pictures through a television (PAL / NTSC) The Digimax V3 provides the ideal solution for those looking for a medium priced top quality digital camera that guarantees style, capability and quality, without intimidating the user. |
