Canon LiDE700F Scanner

canon090218d.jpgScanning documents, photos and film is now easier than ever with the launch of Canon's new LiDE700F scanner. The LiDE700F is perfect for the home or small office and will deliver impressive results at the touch of a button whether you need to scan film, photos and documents or simply create an email attachment, PDF file or colour copy.

Ensuring high quality scans every time, an added bonus of the LiDE700F is the inclusion of sophisticated and advanced image correction software.

Canon brand manager, Alyson Barden says, "Users can expect impressive results with the LiDE700F scanner. The combination of its stylish and compact design, reliability and most importantly, high quality scans makes the LiDE700F a great addition to the home office or small business."

The LiDE700F is fast and easy to use with instant warm up, high speed scanning at 12 seconds per A4 page, and one touch buttons that automatically create an image file, PDF file, a colour copy or an email attachment in one simple step. Guaranteeing quality output, the scanner features 9600 x 9600 dpi optical high resolution, 48-bit superior gradation, automatic dust and scratch reduction as well as backlight, fading and grain correction.

The user-friendly nature of the LiDE700F is one of its key advantages. A single USB lead transfers data and provides power, keeping desks clutter free, and the Advanced Z-lid allows for vertical scanning giving users more office space.

Best of all, Canon connectivity between Canon scanners and Canon Inkjet printers means one button sends colour copies direct from the scanner, via the PC to the printer in an instant. The LiDE700F is also environmentally friendly as it has a low energy consumption of only 1.5 W in stand by mode, which will not only reduce your carbon footprint but reduce your energy bills.

The LiDE700F comes with user friendly software. ScanGear CS provides simple and advanced user modes, including flexible image settings, brightness/contrast, gamma histogram, tone curve palettes and grey balance adjustments. The ScanGear CS drive also saves time for users enabling multiple photos to be scanned at once using the multi-scan mode which automatically aligns, scans and names each image as a separate file.
