Konica Minolta introduces DiMAGE Capture, remote-imaging software for Konica Minolta's new DiMAGE A2, 8 megapixel digital camera. It allows users to control the DiMAGE A2 from a connected computer with a Windows operating system, monitoring the live, preview and recorded images on the screen. Images can be transferred quickly to the computer's hard drive via USB 2.0 interface.
Easy Operating
It gives access to almost all functions of camera recording, from the basic settings of exposure compensation and colors to the advanced features, such as Flex Focus Point (FFP), Flex White Balance and the others. Users can operate it easily by clicks as moving the mouse point on the easy-understand dialogue boxes or on an image displayed on the screen of a connected computer. Surely, almost all the settings on the operating tags can be registered or reset to default values if it is necessary.
Total Controlling
Beside it gives photographers direct control over the DiMAGE A2, live Images from the camera can be confirmed clearly on a computer screen for the depth of field before shooting. This added flexibility ensures that the camera can be used to document ongoing or critical procedures where access to the camera remotely is desired or where it is simply necessary to be working with a full-size monitor.
Quick Workflow
A large amount of image data can be downloaded directly to a computer quickly via USB 2.0 while shooting, and instantly viewed with the DiMAGE Viewer after shooting. Furthermore, one image can be recorded simultaneously in the formats of RAW and JPEG, if users need, for example, RAW data for image processing and JPEG data for mail communicating. Anyway, this software can speed up a photographer's workflow in image data transferring and batch processing of a large number of image data in one session.
