Gallery Xposure is pleased to announce a workshop on Street Photography by Sam Bienstock, a 40 year veteran of the art. He has had numerous exhibitions and credits in publications in Australia, Europe and the USA. The course begins with a half day seminar that will examine the history, philosophy, technique and technology of street photography. The group will also review practitioners and critique some of Australias and Worlds most notable examples of the craft. Following the seminar, the participants will be given one week to fulfil assignments for a second class session devoted to analysis and peer appraisal of photographs taken. Participants are expected to have a more than basic knowledge of photography, and a camera (digital or film, but not phone!). Participants are expected to provide numerous prints of photographs shot during this week. Course notes are provided
