It prints fast, high quality documents, exceptional photos and, for multitasking in every small office, has easy to use document sharing choices through scanning, copying and faxing.

Using Epson DURABrite™ Ultra resin coated pigment ink in individual cartridges, prints can last up to 120 years, are highlighter friendly, resistant to water and smudging, and show sharp detail across a wide variety of paper types. Users need to replace only the colour that is used from a range of ink cartridge capacity options that suit individual needs.

Flexible and efficient document handling comes with the integrated auto duplexer that helps reduce paper use when printing or copying, and the dual paper trays that combined hold up to a ream (500 sheets) of paper, minimising paper top ups and allowing uninterrupted longer print runs.

The integrated scanner, with up to 2400 dpi resolution, facilitates fast and accurate document and photo sharing by copying or scans to PDF, image or email, and allows editing and printing of amended documents with the included OCR software. The WorkForce 840 also supports iPrint which allows wireless photo printing from Apple® iPhone, iPAD and iPOD Touch devices.

The WorkForce 840 is easily integrated into the office workflow via its Ethernet port or the cable-free convenience of high-speed Wi-Fi b/g/n for seamless and reliable shared printing, scanning and faxing, with USB and network cables included for a quick start.

Built-in multi-format memory card slots and a USB port allow easy storage and movement of large files and fast high quality printing of captured documents and images.

The heart of the WorkForce 840 is a new print engine that is faster and quieter and has improved paper handling systems to reduce the risk of paper jams and wastage. The intelligent print engine design has produced a sleeker, smaller printer that makes the most efficient use of precious office workspace.

Task selection and control is simple and straightforward using the menu driven options accessible on the 3.5 inch LCD viewer in the WorkForce 840’s 7.8 inch touch panel.
