FujiFilm Next Evolution For In-Store Printing |
![]() FUJIFILM Australia Managing Director, Dave Marshall, said 15 new FUJIFILM DPC XTR sit-down photo book kiosks have been installed at a major retail store on the Queensland Gold Coast. “The latest digital imaging business model takes photo services to the next evolution in the retail industry by incorporating cutting edge technology that will accommodate consumer demand and also deliver a sophisticated business solution,” he said. “The FUJIFILM DPC XTR sit-down photo book kiosks feature large 19-inch flat panel screens and built-in keyboards where customers can comfortably design their own unique and personalised photo books and photo gifts using their favourite photos. “While customers are spending longer periods of time in-store to create their photo books and photo gifts, they also print significantly more. Sit-down kiosks are a natural progression to accommodate this growing demand.” Mr Marshall said the new DPC XTR kiosks incorporate sophisticated Whitech software and are networked to FUJIFILM’s renowned Frontier Digital Minilabs, processors and scanners to ensure a seamless photo service solution for customers. “There are currently more than 6,000 FUJIFILM photo kiosks operating throughout Australia. “In fact, FUJIFILM kiosks are now one of the most popular methods used by consumers to order photographs in Australian retail stores,” Mr Marshall said. |
